 HEK-293 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 10795-1-AP(Sestrin2 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 IP Result of anti-Sestrin2 (IP:10795-1-AP, 3ug; Detection:10795-1-AP 1:1000) with K-562 cells lysate 4000ug. Immunohistochemical of paraffin-embedded human colon cancer using 10795-1-AP(Sestrin2 antibody) at dilution of 1:100 (under 25x lens) Immunofluorescent analysis of Hela cells, using SESN2 antibody 10795-1-AP at 1:25 dilution and Rhodamine-labeled goat anti-rabbit IgG (red). WB result of Sestrin antibody (10795-1-AP, 1:2000) with si-Control and si-Sestrin transfected HEK293 cells.

Background

SESN is a family of highly conserved, stress-inducible genes that can defend the cell against oxidative damage and oncogenic signaling. SESN2 ,which belongs to the SESN family, has been implicated as a tumor suppressor that can inhibit angiogenesis and promote autophagy, underscoring the importance of elucidating the molecular mechanism by which SESN2 regulates pathways of metabolism and survival.(PMID:22363791). Sesn2 encodes a 480 amino acid protein which can run as a 60 kDa band on SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(PMID:20878915). SESTRIN 2抗体
